The Genesis Seed Cover Plate lets you customize your row spacing by blocking off individual rows inside the GENESIS no-till drill seed hopper — no tools, no fuss. Just drop the plate into place over any seed opening to prevent seed from dropping in that row. Need a change? Pick it up and move it. Simple as that.

Perfect for planting wider rows of crops like corn or soybeans, or tailoring your spacing to match specific wildlife habitat goals. With 7.5” standard row spacing on all Genesis models, these plates let you get creative — block every other row for 15” spacing, every two rows for 22.5”, and so on.

🔧 How many should you get?
You don’t want to block every row, so we recommend ordering about half the number of rows your Genesis drill has:

• GENESIS 3 (5 rows) → Get 2–3 plates

• GENESIS 5 (8 rows) → Get 4–5 plates

• GENESIS 8 (13 rows) → Get 6–7 plates
